Taming and Breeding Harp Seals

Harp seals spawn naturally in frozen ocean biomes and can be tamed by feeding them fish. Once tamed, they will follow you and fight alongside you when threatened.

To breed tamed seals, ensure both are in water and feed them fish. Babies spawn with white coats, while adults have slight texture variations.

Tamed seals automatically hunt fish when their health is below maximum. You can also feed seals directly or let them eat dropped food items to recover health. Seals naturally heal over time while resting.

Untamed seals avoid players and polar bears, but will fight back if attacked. Periodically, seals molt and drop leather—this occurs roughly every 15 to 30 minutes and can be adjusted in the mod's configuration.
