Set Your Fox's Behavior Mode
Understanding Fox Modes
Tamed fennec foxes have three behavior modes you can switch between: wander, sleep, and follow. Each mode changes how your fox acts and interacts with the world.
Changing Modes
1. Right-click your tamed fox while holding an empty hand
2. A menu or status indicator will show the current mode
3. Continue right-clicking to cycle through the available modes
Mode Behaviors
Follow Mode: Your fox will stay close to you and follow your movement. This is useful when exploring or traveling.
Wander Mode: Your fox will roam freely in the area, exploring and hunting rabbits or chickens if its mouth is empty. It may pick up dropped items.
Sleep Mode: Your fox will curl up and rest. While sleeping, it heals over time (gaining health periodically). This is ideal for keeping your fox safe and healthy when you're building or away from it.
Tips
Use sleep mode to heal injured foxes. Switch to follow mode before going on adventures. Wander mode is best when you want your fox to hunt and explore independently.
