Understanding Your New Build Space

With this mod installed, the Nether's build height extends to 384 blocks, compared to the vanilla limit. This means you can construct towers, pillars, and multi-level bases that were previously impossible in the Nether dimension.

Planning Your Structure

1. Check your current Y-coordinate using F3 (Debug screen) or by looking at your coordinates in-game

2. Identify your build zone — you now have significantly more vertical space to work with

3. Account for the logical height set at 256 blocks; structures built above this may behave differently with mob spawning and lighting

Building Effectively

• Start your foundation at a reasonable Y-level to maximize upward expansion
• Use scaffolding or temporary blocks to reach higher elevations safely
• Remember that the increased height applies to the entire Nether — plan around existing terrain and lava lakes
• Test mob spawning behavior in your structure, as the logical height affects where hostile mobs can spawn

This expanded space is ideal for creating elaborate Nether fortresses, wizard towers, or multi-stage farms that benefit from vertical separation.
