How to trigger the totem effect

The Among Us Totem Resource Pack transforms the Totem of Undying visually, but the item functions exactly like vanilla. To see your crewmate in action:

1. Take fatal damage while holding a Totem of Undying in your main hand or offhand

2. The totem will activate automatically, restoring your health and applying status effects

3. You'll see the colorful Among Us crewmate model instead of the standard totem

Viewing your totem safely

You don't need to die to admire the texture. Simply:

• Hold the totem in your hand in survival mode to see it in first-person view
• Open your inventory to see it in the item grid
• Drop it on the ground to view it as a floating item
• Use creative mode to examine it from any angle

The crewmate design replaces all visual aspects of the totem, including the held item model, inventory icon, and ground entity. The pack works with both vanilla totems and custom totems from the Totem Overhaul mod if you have it installed.
