What Ametrin API Provides

Ametrin API is a core library mod by Ametrin Studios, intended as a shared foundation for other mods rather than a standalone gameplay addition. It bundles helper infrastructure that mod authors can build on.

On the data generation side, it offers extended providers for block states, block tags, recipes, and loot tables. These providers include helper methods for common patterns and can automatically generate or tag content based on defined rules, including handling duplicate ids during recipe generation.

For content creation, it supplies base block classes such as DoublePlant, AgeableBush, AgeableDoublePlant, Head, and Torch. Additional helpers cover registering blocks, building nether-like portals, trees and saplings, fluids, structure pieces, and terrain analysis.

It also includes utilities for external effects (logic handled outside the effect class), time and color conversion, and data additions like strippable logs, potion mixes, compostables, and flower pots.

Because it is a library, it adds no items or blocks on its own.
