Make Water and Lava Match Your Custom World Theme

Open Ambience V2 Configuration

Access the mod's color settings menu from your main menu or in-game settings.

Adjust Water Color

Locate the water color option and select a new hue using the color picker or RGB values. You can make water glow with ethereal blues, murky greens, or even unnatural colors like glowing cyan or deep purple to match a fantasy or alien theme.

Modify Lava Color

Find the lava color setting separately. While lava is typically orange-red, you can change it to match your world's aesthetic—try cool blues for ice dimensions, green for toxic swamps, or white-hot for extreme heat themes.

Consider Transparency and Brightness

If your mod version supports it, adjust the opacity or brightness of these liquids. Darker water creates mysterious underwater areas, while brighter lava enhances danger and drama.

Test in Different Lighting

Load your world and observe how the new liquid colors look in caves, at night, and in sunlight. Colors can appear different depending on surrounding light sources. Make adjustments as needed to achieve your desired visual effect.
