Adjust Your Playstyle for Always-Sprint Mode
Adapting to Constant Sprinting
Always Sprint Mod changes how you interact with Minecraft's movement system. Success means adjusting your habits and expectations rather than fighting against the mod.
Building and Precision Work
When building, toggle sprint off (press Ctrl) to return to normal walking speed. This gives you better control for:
- Placing blocks accurately
- Navigating scaffolding and tight spaces
- Avoiding accidental falls from height
Combat Considerations
Sprinting affects your combat effectiveness. You move faster but can't attack while sprinting. For PvP or difficult mob fights, toggle sprint off to regain attack capability and better positioning control.
Terrain Navigation
Always sprinting means you'll cover terrain faster but with less control. Be cautious around:
- Cliffs and steep drops
- Water bodies (you'll run into them faster)
- Narrow bridges or paths
General Adjustment
Think of Always Sprint Mod as a quality-of-life tool for travel, not a replacement for all movement. Use the sprint toggle liberally when you need precision, safety, or combat readiness. The mod works best when you treat it as a convenience for exploration rather than a permanent state.
