How to Summon the Wither Using Skulls From This Mod

Gather your materials

You need three wither skulls, which this mod guarantees from wither skeleton kills, plus four blocks of soul sand or soul soil. Soul sand is found in soul sand valleys and in Nether fortresses, and soul soil appears in soul soil valleys. Build the summoning structure on a flat surface where you have room to fight.

Build the T shape and spawn the Wither

1. Place four soul sand or soul soil blocks in a T shape: three in a row on the ground, then one on top of the center block.

2. Place a wither skull on top of each of the three lower blocks. The top-center block stays empty.

3. The Wither spawns immediately after the third skull is placed. It starts with a charging animation and a health bar appears at the top of the screen.

4. Move away from the structure before it explodes, because the spawn creates a blast that can destroy nearby blocks.

Where to fight it

Fighting underground in a tunnel or in the Nether is risky because the Wither destroys blocks and can trap you. Many players summon it in a cleared area in the Overworld, or in a bedrock ceiling trap in the Nether if they want an easy kill. Bring a bow, golden apples, and milk buckets to remove the Wither effect. Once defeated, the Wither drops a Nether Star, which you can use to craft a beacon.
