Enable and Switch Between Animation Styles

Accessing Animation Options

The Alternative Custom Player Animations Resource Pack works alongside the Custom Player Animations mod. Once installed, the new animations load automatically, replacing the default movement set.

Switching Animations

If you want to toggle between the alternative animations and other animation packs:

1. Open your Resource Packs menu from the main screen

2. Locate the Alternative Custom Player Animations pack in your active list

3. Move it up or down in priority to change which animations take effect (higher priority packs override lower ones)

4. Drag it to Inactive if you want to temporarily disable these animations

5. Close the menu and rejoin your world—changes apply immediately

Checking Active Animations

You can verify the pack is working by:

  • Watching your character's idle pose (should show the new custom stance)
  • Entering a bed (should display the updated rest animation)
  • Picking up an item (should show the new holding pose)

If animations don't change, ensure the Custom Player Animations mod itself is installed and enabled in your mod loader.
