Fix Game Rule Conflicts Between Mods
Understanding Game Rule Patches
The data pack adjusts Minecraft's game rules to prevent mods from interfering with each other. These rules control mechanics like mob spawning, block updates, and entity behavior—all critical when mixing multiple tech and content mods.
Adjusting Rules Manually
1. Access game rules — Pause and go to Settings → Game Rules to view all active rules and their current values.
2. Identify modified rules — Rules changed by the data pack will differ from vanilla defaults. Common adjustments include entity update frequencies and block tick rates.
3. Don't override pack settings — Avoid manually changing rules the pack has set, as this defeats its purpose. If you need different behavior, disable the pack and reconfigure manually.
4. Use commands if needed — You can temporarily adjust rules with /gamerule [rule] [value], but changes reset if you reload the pack.
5. Check mod documentation — If a specific mod requires different game rule values, consult its guide and adjust *after* confirming the pack's settings.
The data pack's rule adjustments are designed specifically for All of Create's mod combination, so trust them unless you have a specific reason to change them.
