Create a Mobile Base on an Airship

Design a Large Hull

Build a spacious airship frame using sturdy blocks. Make it at least several blocks long and wide to accommodate multiple rooms. Use a mix of solid blocks for structure and lighter blocks for walls and floors inside. The larger your base, the more buoyancy components you'll need.

Add Essential Rooms

Inside your hull, create distinct areas: a bedroom with a bed (to set your spawn point), a storage room with chests, a crafting area with workbenches, and a navigation room for your helm. Leave space for corridors so you can walk between rooms while airborne.

Install Buoyancy and Engines

Attach enough lift blocks or balloons to keep your airship airborne—test incrementally to find the right balance. Mount powerful engines at the rear or sides for forward thrust. Add multiple control surfaces so you can maneuver this larger vessel smoothly.

Set Your Spawn

Place a bed in your bedroom and sleep in it. Your spawn point is now set to your airship. You can now die and respawn aboard your flying home, making it a true mobile base for long expeditions.
