Survive Your First Night When All Mobs Are Creepers

Prepare Early

Since every hostile mob that spawns is now a creeper, explosions become your primary threat. Gather wood and stone during the day—do this faster than usual, as creeper density will be higher.

Build Effective Shelter

Creepers explode on contact, so your shelter needs blast resistance. Build walls from blast-resistant blocks like obsidian, deepslate, or reinforced stone if available through the mod. Avoid wood and dirt entirely.

Keep your shelter compact. A small 5×5 room is easier to defend than a large space. Leave no gaps in your walls or ceiling—creepers can approach from any angle.

Manage Creeper Encounters

If a creeper reaches your door, don't panic. Back away and let it pass if possible. If trapped indoors with one, move to high ground—creepers have limited vertical mobility. Use a door to separate yourself; they cannot open doors.

Gather Resources Safely

Mine in short bursts and return to shelter before dark. Carry a bed to set your spawn point near resources.
