Transform Your Netherite Sword Into a Key

The Renaming Mechanic

Alice's Box includes a special feature: renaming Netherite items changes their model. This works through the resource pack's custom model system and requires your mods (Optifine or EMF+ETF) to be active.

Rename Your Sword

1. Obtain a Netherite sword

2. Open an anvil

3. Place the sword in the anvil's input slot

4. In the name field, type Alice Key (exact capitalization)

5. Confirm the rename and take the sword

See the Transformation

Once renamed, your sword's model will change from a card-themed blade to a large ornate key. This only works if your custom model mods are installed and active. The key functions identically to a normal Netherite sword—the change is purely visual.
