Understanding Froststalker Behavior

Froststalkers naturally avoid certain blocks. The compat pack adds blocks from other mods to their avoidance list, making them scared of additional structures and materials beyond the base game.

Using This Mechanic

1. Place blocks from linked mods (Haunted Harvest, Sully's Mod, Deep Aether, etc.) in your base or perimeter

2. Froststalkers will treat these blocks as threats and avoid crossing them

3. Use this to create safe zones without needing walls made entirely of vanilla materials

4. Combine multiple mod blocks for layered defense strategies

Building Tips

This works best when you intentionally create barriers using compat-friendly blocks. Since froststalkers are dangerous mobs, placing these blocks around your base creates a natural deterrent. The more blocks they fear, the wider your safe zone becomes. Test which mod blocks trigger avoidance in your specific setup, as not all blocks from linked mods may be included.
