AlchemyLib Mod: What It Does and Why You Need It

A Shared Library for Chemistry Mods

AlchemyLib is a library mod, which means it does not add gameplay content on its own. Instead, it exists so that other mods can share code with each other. If you install it expecting new items, blocks, or machines, you will not find them here.

Its purpose is to serve as a common foundation for chemistry-themed addon mods, most notably Alchemistry and Techemistry. Because these mods build on the same ideas, they need the same underlying systems. AlchemyLib provides that shared code, including the common logic behind machines and their screens. This keeps the addon mods consistent and compatible with one another rather than each reinventing the same systems separately.

In practice, you install AlchemyLib because another mod requires it. It runs quietly in the background, and once it is present, the mods that depend on it can function and work together properly. You generally do not interact with AlchemyLib directly while playing.
