Getting Started with Aethum

Harnessing Natural Magic

Affinity Mod introduces Aethum, a life force energy found throughout the natural world. To begin your journey, obtain the Wispen Testament guide book, which teaches the fundamentals of this magic system.

Start by gathering natural resources and learning to sense Aethum around you. As you progress, you'll unlock the ability to craft magical tools and construct machines powered by Aethum Flux. The mod's creative tabs organize items by category: magical equipment, machinery, natural blocks, and more.

Key structures like magical pedestals serve as focal points for your magic. Experiment with different natural elements and observe how they interact with Aethum to discover new crafting possibilities and unlock powerful abilities.
