Understand the Layout

Aetherstone Citadel is built around a central courtyard with multiple wings branching outward. Familiarize yourself with the main entrance and use it as your reference point. The fortress has a logical flow—grand halls connect to smaller chambers, and towers rise from key intersections.

Mark Your Path

Place torches or blocks along corridors as you explore. This creates a visible trail back to spawn and helps you identify which areas you've already checked. Focus on one wing at a time rather than jumping between distant sections.

Use Vertical Landmarks

The tallest towers are visible from most locations in the fortress. Use them to orient yourself when you're unsure of your position. If you can see a specific tower, you know which direction to head to return to familiar ground.

Explore Systematically

Work through the fortress methodically—complete one floor before moving up, or finish one wing before crossing to another. This prevents backtracking and ensures you don't miss hidden rooms or passages tucked into corners.
