Locate Your First Aetheric Pillar Monument
Listen for the Humming Signal
Monuments emit a distinctive ambient humming sound that grows louder as you approach. Travel through different biomes and listen carefully—the hum is your primary navigation tool. Pay attention in biomes like cherry forests, coniferous woodlands, oak forests, and mesa terrain, as monuments blend seamlessly with their surroundings.
Search Systematically
Once you hear humming, move toward the sound's source. Monuments are tall stone structures, so look upward as you get closer. The architecture varies by type:
- Cherry Monument: Pink-toned stone among blossom trees
- Coniferous Monument: Tall pillar in pine/spruce forests
- Oakwood Monument: Integrated with standard oak terrain
- Desert/Mesa variants: Stone pillars against rocky terrain
Prepare Before Approaching
Bring combat gear and healing items. Hostile defenders guard the monument center, and you'll need to defeat them to access the Elderheart core. Scout the structure's layout from a distance before engaging enemies. Note the central chamber where the glowing purple core awaits.
