Enhance Astral Rift Ripple Effects at Night

Locate Rift Animation Settings

Access your shader configuration menu and find parameters related to astral rifts or night sky effects. These controls typically appear under a dedicated section for atmospheric or celestial phenomena.

Increase Ripple Intensity

Adjust the ripple amplitude or wave intensity slider to make the astral tears more pronounced. Higher values create more dramatic, visible distortions across the night sky, while lower values produce subtle, gentle wavering.

Speed Up Animation

Look for a ripple speed or animation frequency setting. Increasing this makes the rifts pulse and shift more rapidly, creating a more dynamic, turbulent appearance. Decreasing it produces a slower, more meditative effect.

Adjust Rift Color and Glow

Many shader options allow you to modify the color saturation or glow intensity of the rifts themselves. Boosting these values makes them stand out more vividly against the starfield, while reducing them creates a more subdued, atmospheric look.

Test at Different Times

Ripple effects are most visible during night cycles. Load into your world at night or use commands to advance time, then observe how your adjustments affect the overall visual impact of the astral tears.
