Customize Water Color and Glow Intensity

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually Right Shift or check your controls). Navigate to the Water or Magical Effects section.

Adjust Water Properties

Look for sliders controlling:

  • Water Tint/Color: Shift the hue away from the default teal toward blue, cyan, or custom colors
  • Water Glow/Brightness: Reduce or increase how much the water self-illuminates
  • Water Transparency: Make water clearer or more opaque to suit your preference
  • Caustic Waves: Toggle or adjust the animated wave patterns on the water surface

Apply and Test

Changes apply in real-time. Stand near water to preview adjustments immediately. If you want the magical glow less intense for a vanilla-closer look, lower the glow slider. For a more ethereal effect, increase brightness and saturation.

Save Your Preset

Once satisfied, save your custom shader preset so settings persist across sessions. Most shader packs allow you to name and store multiple configurations.
