Exploring and Mapping the Castle Layout
Starting Your Exploration
Begin at the main entrance and work systematically through each tower and corridor. The castle features multiple levels and interconnected rooms—take note of stairwells and passages as you go. Bring a crafting table and torches to mark your path and prevent getting lost.
Documenting Key Locations
Identify important areas: the central courtyard with its fountain (good for water collection), the flower gardens (useful for decoration and plant gathering), and any rooms with existing crafting stations or storage. Mark these on a mental map or use in-game markers.
Finding Hidden Spaces
The castle's tall towers often contain multiple floors. Climb each tower carefully and check for side rooms or upper chambers. The thick stone construction means some areas may be dark—bring plenty of torches to safely navigate and spot any useful pre-built features.
Connecting the Exterior
Note the surrounding pine forest and rocky terrain. These areas offer wood, stone, and other natural resources. Identify safe paths from the castle walls down the hillside for easy access to mining and logging spots.
