Using Animated Creative Mode Items

Locating Animated Items

The AE2 Bright Assets and Redraws Resource Pack adds animated textures to select creative mode items. These items display special visual effects when held or placed in your inventory.

Viewing Animated Textures

1. Switch to Creative Mode

2. Open your creative inventory and search for AE2 items

3. Items with animated textures will display frame-by-frame visual changes when held in your hand or viewed in the inventory

4. The animations loop continuously and are purely visual—they don't affect item function

5. Place animated items in item frames or display areas to showcase the effects

Finding Specific Animated Items

Not all creative items have animations; the pack targets specific high-visibility items for special treatment. Look for items with glowing cores or crystalline components, as these are most likely to feature animation. The animated textures enhance the luminous theme of the pack, making creative builds more visually interesting.

Animated items work in both single-player creative worlds and creative-enabled multiplayer servers where the resource pack is active.
