Understanding the Modified Layout

The resource pack redesigns the quick inventory and shortcut menu for AE2 network tools and cards. This layout modification makes frequently used items more accessible and visually distinct.

Setting Up Your Quick Access

1. Equip or hold an AE2 network tool or portable device

2. Open the quick inventory menu (default key varies by modpack)

3. Notice the reorganized card slot arrangement—slots are now grouped logically

4. Drag frequently used cards (crafting cards, storage cards, upgrade cards) into the quick menu slots

5. The brightened textures make each slot's purpose immediately clear

Optimizing Your Workflow

Arrange your most-used cards in the leftmost positions for fastest access. The pack's bright highlighting makes it easy to see which slots are filled at a glance, even during active gameplay. The shortcut menu now displays card icons with enhanced contrast, reducing confusion when switching between different network configurations.

This layout works consistently across all supported addon mods, so your quick menu organization remains familiar whether you're using base AE2 or extended versions.
