Assembling the Quantum Computer

Craft the Quantum Computer Core and Quantum Computer Accelerator blocks, then place the Core first. Accelerators must be placed adjacent to the Core (touching faces) to form a valid multiblock. You can stack multiple Accelerators around the Core to increase total storage capacity. Once placed, right-click the Core to open its interface and confirm the structure is recognized — if it is not, check that every Accelerator shares a face with the Core or another valid part of the structure.

Adding Storage and Powering It

Insert 128M Quantum Computer Storage or 256M Quantum Computer Storage items into the Core's storage slots. The Core itself does not generate power — connect it to your ME network via a cable or energy acceptor so it draws AE from your existing power source. Without power, the storage will not be accessible to the network.

Using It in Your ME System

Once powered and populated with storage cells, the Quantum Computer appears as a storage block on your ME network. You can store items and fluids through your normal terminals. Because capacity is much larger than standard AE2 storage cells, this is ideal for bulk storage of cobblestone, ingots, or other high-volume items. Use an ME Throughput Monitor nearby if you want to watch transfer rates in real time.
