Convert Logs to Planks and Other Wood Products
Using the Stonecutter for Wood Processing
The stonecutter can now handle all wood-related conversions, making it a one-stop shop for lumber work.
Basic Wood Conversion
1. Place your log or hyphae block into the stonecutter
2. Open the stonecutter interface
3. Select from available wood products:
- Planks — the standard conversion
- Slabs — half-height blocks
- Stairs — angled blocks for slopes
- Fences — barrier blocks
- Fence Gates — openable fence sections
- Trapdoors — hinged access blocks
- Signs — text-bearing blocks
- Sticks — crafting material
- Boats — water-ready transport
4. Click the recipe and collect your output
Stripped Logs
You can also place stripped logs (from an axe) into the stonecutter to process them the same way. This is useful if you've already stripped your logs and want to convert them directly without re-logging.
All wood types — oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, and others — work with these recipes.
