Set up harvesting with an empty hand
Enable empty-hand harvesting
By default, Actually Harvest Mod may require a hoe to harvest crops. To allow harvesting with just your empty hand:
1. Open your mod config file (usually in .minecraft/config/)
2. Locate the setting allow_harvest_empty_hand or similar
3. Set it to true
4. Save and restart your world
Harvest your crops
Once enabled, simply right-click on any mature crop with an empty hand. The crop will be harvested and drop its items. This works on vanilla crops like wheat, potatoes, and carrots, as well as modded crops if auto-configuration is enabled.
Note: If you prefer to require a hoe for harvesting, disable this setting. You'll then need to hold a hoe and right-click to harvest.
