How to Build and Scaffold Quickly with Smart Placement Timing

The headline feature of Accurate Block Placement Reborn is smart placement timing: it places a block automatically when you hold right-click and move your view to a new spot, so you don't have to re-click for every block.

The Basic Technique

Hold right-click and sweep your crosshair across the surface you're building on. Each time your aim lands on a valid new position, the mod places a block there. This is ideal for laying floors, walls, and bridges where you're placing many blocks in a line or grid.

Scaffolding and Shulker Boxes

Earlier versions of this style of mod could misbehave when placing scaffolding or shulker boxes in bulk. This mod restores vanilla-like behavior for those blocks, so you can still stack scaffolding normally and place shulker boxes without them behaving unexpectedly. If something feels off, toggle smart placement off temporarily and place those blocks manually.

Building While Moving

Because placement triggers on looking at a new spot rather than on a fresh click, you can keep walking or flying while holding right-click and the blocks follow your aim. This is great for rapid scaffolding towers and quick path-laying. Slow your movement if you overshoot, and use the toggle keybind to switch back to manual placement for detail work.
