Set Up a Fruit Orchard in Your World

Finding and Collecting Fruit Seeds

Fruit trees spawn naturally across specific biomes. Explore Old Growth Birch Forests for pears, Flower Forests for peaches, Cherry Groves for cherries, Windswept Savannas for oranges, and Savanna Plateaus for limes. Harvest any fruit you find from the tree leaves.

If you can't locate trees naturally, visit village farmers or wandering traders to purchase fresh fruits and grape vines directly.

Planting Your Orchard

Once you have fruit in your inventory, find a suitable location with dirt or grass blocks. Hold the fruit in your main hand, then Shift + Right-Click on the ground to plant a sapling. The sapling will grow into a full fruit tree over time.

Plant multiple trees close together to create an orchard. Different fruit types can be mixed in the same area. After trees mature, harvest fruit directly from the leaves by right-clicking or breaking them.

Maintaining Your Orchard

Trees grow faster in their native biomes, so plant pears in birch forests, peaches in flower forests, and so on for optimal growth. Keep the area well-lit and free of obstacles. Once established, your orchard will provide a renewable source of fresh fruit for cooking and crafting.
