Harvest and Prepare Citrus Fruits

Growing Orange and Lime Trees

Orange trees spawn naturally in Windswept Savannas, while lime trees grow in Savanna Plateau biomes. If these biomes aren't nearby, hold an orange or lime fruit and Shift + Right-Click on dirt or grass to plant your own saplings.

Cutting Citrus into Slices

Once you have oranges or limes, you can cut them into slices using a crafting table. Citrus slices are quick, portable snacks perfect for eating on the go during exploration or building projects. They restore hunger and can be eaten faster than whole fruits.

Using Citrus in Recipes

Beyond slicing, citrus fruits can be combined with other ingredients to create smoothies, jams, and jellies. Experiment with different fruit combinations to discover new recipes. Citrus adds variety to your food supply and provides both practical sustenance and decorative potential when displayed in jars or item frames.
