Navigate the Tower Without Fall Damage
Plan Your Route Before Climbing
Before ascending, spend time at ground level mapping out which corridors and beams connect to upper floors. Look for intact metal frameworks and reinforced walkways—these are safer than crumbling glass sections. Mark mentally (or with blocks) which paths lead upward versus dead ends.
Use Safe Climbing Techniques
When moving between floors:
- Crouch on narrow beams to prevent accidental knockback into empty space
- Test each plank or metal surface by walking slowly across it first
- Use pillars and structural supports as handholds; avoid jumping across large gaps
- Build temporary blocks (dirt, stone) to create a safety net if you're uncertain about a jump
- Never rush through broken glass corridors—visibility is poor and falls are common
Identify Danger Zones
Avoid areas where:
- Glass panels are completely shattered with no visible floor beneath
- Beams are visibly bent or disconnected from the main structure
- Corridors open directly to empty air on both sides
If you slip, try to grab onto protruding pipes or ledges as you fall. Keep your inventory light so you can move quickly if needed.
