Reading the Path Ahead

Before you jump, study the sequence of platforms. Identify which blocks are safe, which are narrow, and where gaps appear. Look for visual cues—different block types often indicate safe zones versus hazards.

Movement Strategy

1. Walk slowly across narrow platforms rather than sprinting

2. Use crouch (sneak) on thin edges to prevent accidental knockback into gaps

3. Plan your jumps in advance—know where your next three landings will be

4. Jump at the last moment before a gap, not early

5. Land with your center of mass over the platform, not the edge

Advanced Techniques

Use strafing (moving sideways while jumping) to adjust your trajectory mid-air without losing forward momentum. Bunny hopping between platforms maintains speed while keeping you in control. If a section feels impossible, look for alternative routes—many advanced maps include hidden shortcuts. Stay calm and focus on one platform at a time rather than the entire section.
