How to Take High-Resolution Screenshots with the 4K Screenshot Mod
Capturing Crisp, Large Screenshots
The 4K Screenshot mod changes how Minecraft captures images. Instead of saving your screen at its normal size and stretching it later, the mod renders the world again at the exact width and height you choose. This keeps block edges sharp and preserves fine detail, which is useful for wallpapers or showing off builds.
Before taking a shot, decide on your output size. You can enter any custom width and height, or use the quick 1x, 2x, 3x, and 4x presets for a faster setup. When you trigger a capture, the mod automatically hides your hotbar, hand, and crosshair so the image stays clean.
The mod also lets you assign a separate keybind for high-resolution captures, or replace the standard screenshot key entirely. Pick whichever fits your workflow, then snap your photo and check the saved file.
