Import a Custom Geometry Skin Pack

Prepare Your Skin Pack

Ensure your skin pack contains a skins.json file with custom geometry references and a geometry.json file defining the 4D model structure. The geometry JSON should specify bone hierarchies, cubes, and texture UV mappings for your custom character model.

Import Into Minecraft PE

1. Place your .mcpack file in your device's file system (typically in the Minecraft PE resource packs folder)

2. Open Minecraft PE and navigate to Settings > Skins

3. Select Import and choose your custom geometry pack

4. Apply the skin to your player profile

Verify Rendering

Once applied, your custom 4D geometry should render in-game instead of defaulting to the standard player model. If the skin appears flat or uses default geometry, check that your skins.json correctly references the geometry file and that all JSON syntax is valid. The mod patches the loader to accept these references without marketplace signing restrictions.

If geometry still doesn't load, verify the geometry.json file is included in the pack root and properly formatted.
