Troubleshoot Items Still Looking Flat

Verify Pack Priority

If some items still appear flat after enabling the pack, check that 3D Vanilla Items is positioned correctly in your resource pack list.

1. Open Options → Resource Packs

2. Move the 3D Vanilla Items pack to the top of the active list (highest priority)

3. Other packs below it won't override its textures

4. Close and reopen your inventory

Clear Your Cache

Minecraft sometimes caches old textures. Close the game completely and relaunch it. This forces the game to reload all resource pack files fresh.

Check Compatibility

If you're using multiple resource packs together, lower-priority packs may override the 3D models. Disable other packs temporarily to confirm 3D Vanilla Items works alone. You can then re-enable them one at a time to find conflicts.

Restart Your World

Some texture changes only apply when you load a world fresh. Exit to the main menu and re-enter your world to ensure all 3D models are active.
