What the 3D Crops Resource Pack Changes

A Visual-Only Resource Pack

The 3D Crops 9minecraft Resource Pack is a cosmetic pack, not a content mod. It does not add new blocks, items, or crafting recipes. Instead, it replaces the flat, cross-shaped textures that Minecraft uses for growing plants with three-dimensional models, so crops and stems look like actual objects standing in the world rather than paper cutouts.

The wiki lists seven affected blocks: Attached Melon Stem, Attached Pumpkin Stem, Brown Mushroom, Melon Stem, Pumpkin Stem, Red Mushroom, and Sugar Cane. These are the plants whose appearance is reworked by the pack.

Because the change is purely visual, gameplay is untouched. Growth stages, drops, and farming behavior stay exactly as they are in vanilla. You can add or remove the pack at any time without breaking a world, and it works alongside other resource packs as long as they do not edit the same plant textures.
