Use 3D Doors with Custom Door Types

Supported Door Variants

The 3D Animated Doors Resource Pack replaces all vanilla door types with thicker, modeled versions. This includes wooden doors of all wood types, iron doors, copper doors, and any other standard Minecraft door blocks.

Applying 3D Models to Your Builds

1. Place any vanilla door block in your world as you normally would.

2. With the resource pack active, the door will automatically display as a 3D model instead of a flat texture.

3. Use the Animated Doors data pack commands to make the door open and close on command or through triggers.

4. The 3D model will animate alongside the data pack's movement system.

Mixing Door Types

You can use different door types in the same build—copper doors, wooden doors, and iron doors will all receive the 3D treatment. Each maintains its unique appearance while gaining the visual upgrade. The animation system works identically for all door types, so mixing them creates visually varied but mechanically consistent entrances.
