Identifying Which Blocks Have 3D Models
Workstations and Crafting Blocks
Look for detailed 3D changes on functional blocks like crafting tables (with tools resting on top), furnaces (with hollow interiors visible), enchanting tables (featuring actual 3D books), looms (with thread spools), and barrels (with dimensional details). Bookshelves will appear visually distinct from one another with colorful books at varying depths.
Natural Blocks and Ores
Ores embedded in stone will show nuggets popping slightly outward from the surrounding rock while maintaining their classic shape. Grass and podzol blocks feature scattered 3D details like small stones and sticks across their surface to create a more natural ground appearance.
Structural Blocks
Stairs and walls use smart texturing so their sides and tops align perfectly with the main 3D shape. Double slabs display clean horizontal dividing lines when the block type includes borders. Bee nests show their fill level through clear visual details on the exterior.
Blocks Without 3D Models
Some blocks like bamboo are intentionally kept flat to maintain performance. These won't receive 3D treatment.
