Check If Smooth Boot Is Working Properly

Verify the Mod Is Active

Open the mods menu from the main screen and search for Smooth Boot in your mod list. If it appears and shows as enabled, the mod is installed correctly.

Monitor CPU Usage During Startup

To see the mod in action:

1. Open your system's task manager or performance monitor before launching Minecraft

2. Watch the CPU usage graph as the game loads

3. With Smooth Boot active, you should see a gradual, steady increase in CPU usage rather than an immediate spike to maximum

4. The loading screen should feel smoother and more responsive

Check In-Game Performance

Once in-game:

• Press F3 to open the debug menu
• Look at frame rate and performance metrics
• You should see stable frame rates without stuttering during the initial load phase
• Memory usage should also be distributed more evenly

If you see erratic CPU spikes or freezing during loading, verify the mod is enabled and try restarting your launcher.
