Overview

Silent's Gems (version 26.1.2 for Minecraft) is a massive expansion to the game's resource and equipment systems. Originally known for adding 48 gems, the modern version focuses on 16 core gemstones distributed across the Overworld, Nether, and End. These gems serve as the foundation for a modular equipment system (when paired with Silent Gear) and provide a vast palette of decorative blocks including bricks, lamps, and glass.

Beyond aesthetics, the mod introduces Chaos, a magical energy system used for teleportation and transmutation, and Soul Gems, which allow players to imbue their tools with the spirits of defeated mobs.

Mine Chaos Ore or Deepslate Chaos Ore, which drop Chaos Essence. It can also be crafted into or from a Block of Chaos Essence.
Where do I find Silver Ore?
Silver Ore generates in the world and Deepslate Silver Ore appears in deepslate layers. Smelt the ore to obtain Silver, which can be crafted into a Block of Silver.
How do I make a gem Block?
Combine nine of the same gem, such as Alexandrite or Ruby, in a crafting grid to form its Block. Each gem type has a matching Block.
How do I craft gem Bricks or Tiles?
Gem Bricks, Small Bricks, and Tiles are crafted from the corresponding gem Block in a crafting grid. Each gem type has its own Bricks, Small Bricks, and Tiles variants.
How do I make Chiseled gem blocks?
Chiseled variants exist for each gem, such as Chiseled Ruby or Chiseled Opal, and are crafted from the matching gem Block. They are decorative variants of the standard Block.
How do I craft a gem Lamp?
Each gem has a Lamp block, such as Alexandrite Lamp or Citrine Lamp, crafted from that gem's materials. An inverted variant, like Alexandrite Lamp Inverted On, also exists.
What are Teleporter and Redstone Teleporter blocks used for?
Each gem has a Teleporter and a Redstone Teleporter block, such as Alexandrite Teleporter and Alexandrite Redstone Teleporter. The Redstone variant responds to redstone signals.
