Vanilla Plus

Vanilla plus packs are built on restraint. They add quality of life, a few extra biomes and mobs, better building blocks and some performance mods, then stop, so the game still plays and progresses the way you expect. That makes them the easiest entry point into modded Minecraft and the best choice for a group that wants modest additions rather than a new game.
