An economy gives a survival server a reason to keep playing after everyone has netherite. These plugins add a currency and the ways to earn and spend it: admin shops with fixed prices, player-run chest shops, auction houses, banks with interest, and jobs that pay for mining, farming or building. Most hook into a shared economy API so several plugins can read the same balance.
