Crafting Gem Blocks, Bricks, Tiles, and Chiseled Variants

From Gem to Block

Every gem in Silent's Gems compacts into a Block: Alexandrite Block, Ammolite Block, Aquamarine Block, Black Diamond Block, Carnelian Block, Citrine Block, Garnet Block, Heliodor Block, and so on. Combine nine of the gem in a crafting table to get the Block, and reverse the recipe to break it back into gems. This is the standard storage-block pattern and is useful for compact storage or for feeding later recipes.

Decorative Variants

Once you have a Block, you can craft decorative forms from it. Each gem has Bricks, Small Bricks, Tiles, and a Chiseled variant. For example: Alexandrite Bricks, Alexandrite Small Bricks, Alexandrite Tiles, and Chiseled Alexandrite. The same set exists for Ammolite, Aquamarine, Black Diamond, Carnelian, Citrine, Garnet, Heliodor, Iolite, Kyanite, Moldavite, Opal, Pearl, Peridot, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Topaz, Turquoise, and White Diamond. These are shaped crafting recipes, so check your recipe viewer for the exact arrangement.

Glass

Each gem also has a Glass block — Alexandrite Glass, Ammolite Glass, Aquamarine Glass, Black Diamond Glass, Carnelian Glass, Citrine Glass, Garnet Glass, Heliodor Glass, and the rest. Use these for windows and light-passing walls that match your gem theme.

Building Tips

• Use Bricks for floors, Tiles for walls, and Small Bricks for accents.
• Chiseled variants make good focal points above doorways.
• Mix two gem colors for contrast — e.g. Ruby Bricks with Sapphire Tiles.
• Glass lets light through while keeping the gem color.
