How to Mine and Process Silent's Gems Ores

Finding and Breaking Ore

Every gem in Silent's Gems has two ore blocks: %s Ore and Deepslate %s Ore. This applies to Alexandrite, Ammolite, Aquamarine, Black Diamond, Carnelian, Citrine, Garnet, Heliodor, Iolite, Kyanite, Moldavite, Opal, Pearl, Peridot, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Topaz, Turquoise, and White Diamond. Mine the ore block to obtain the raw gem item (for example, mining Ruby Ore gives you Ruby).

Chaos Ore is separate. It drops Chaos Essence, not a gem.

Turning Gems into Blocks and Back

Once you have loose gems, compress them into storage blocks. Nine gems craft into one %s Block — for example, nine Ruby make one Ruby Block. Reverse the recipe to break a block back into nine gems. Chaos Essence follows the same pattern: nine Chaos Essence craft into one Block of Chaos Essence. Silver also has a Block of Silver.

For building, each gem type has a full decorative family: %s Bricks, %s Small Bricks, %s Tiles, %s Glass, Chiseled %s Stone, %s Lamp, and %s Glowrose. Craft these from the gem's %s Block or from each other in the usual stonecutter-style progression. Lamps have an inverted variant (%s Lamp Inverted On) you can toggle.

Smelting, blasting, campfire cooking, and smoking recipes exist in the mod, so check your furnace, blast furnace, campfire, and smoker for gem-related outputs before assuming a gem is only a crafting ingredient.
