The Block Family Per Gem

Each gem type ships with a matching set of building blocks. For Alexandrite you get Alexandrite Block, Alexandrite Bricks, Alexandrite Small Bricks, Alexandrite Tiles, Alexandrite Glass, Chiseled Alexandrite, Alexandrite Lamp, Alexandrite Lamp Inverted On, and Alexandrite Glowrose. The same list exists for Ammolite, Aquamarine, Black Diamond, Carnelian, Citrine, Garnet, Heliodor, Iolite, Kyanite, Moldavite, Opal, Pearl, Peridot, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Topaz, Turquoise, and White Diamond.

Crafting the Variants

Start from the gem's %s Block. Nine loose gems make one block. From the block you craft the decorative variants: %s Bricks, %s Small Bricks, %s Tiles, and Chiseled %s Stone. %s Glass is a glass-type block in the same color family. %s Lamp is a light source, and %s Lamp Inverted On is its inverted-state counterpart — place and toggle it to control lighting.

%s Glowrose is a flower-style decorative block tied to the gem color. Use it for accents in gardens and paths.

Because the mod registers 321 items and blocks, mixing gem families gives you a wide palette: pair Ruby Bricks with Aquamarine Tiles, or line a floor with Chiseled Sapphire and Citrine Small Bricks. All variants are craftable from the base block, so you never need to hunt for a separate recipe source — just convert gems to blocks, then blocks to the shape you want.
