The Betweenlands is a massive, dark, and hostile dimension mod for Minecraft that introduces a unique swamp-themed world filled with new mechanics, dangerous mobs, and complex herblore systems.
Overview
The Betweenlands is a large and expansive mod that adds a whole new dimension to Minecraft. This dimension is a dark, swampy world filled with mystery, danger, and unique life forms. Unlike the Overworld, the Betweenlands features its own ecosystem, progression system, and survival mechanics that force players to adapt to a hostile environment where even the air and water can be deadly.
To enter the Betweenlands, players must first locate a Druid Circle in the Overworld's swamp biomes. These structures are guarded by Dark Druids, who drop Swamp Talisman Shards. Once four shards are collected, they can be placed on the central altar to craft a Swamp Talisman. Using this talisman on a sapling will grow a massive Portal Tree, which contains the gateway to the dimension.
