Frequently asked questions

What is Conquest Reforged actually?
It's a mod plus resource pack that retextures vanilla Minecraft in a medieval fantasy style and adds a large library of decorative building blocks for detailed architecture. The mod and the resource pack work together, so you need both enabled for the blocks to look right.
How do I start building with Conquest Reforged?
Place a block from the mod's building palette and use the mod's block-cycling or variant keys to scroll through the connected shapes and textures instead of placing each one separately. Start with a small wall or floor section so you learn how the variants connect before committing to a big build.
Why do my Conquest Reforged blocks look like vanilla blocks?
The resource pack isn't loaded or is below the mod's required position in your resource pack list. Move the Conquest Reforged pack to the top of the list and reload resources, then the new textures will appear.
How do the connected or layered block variants work?
Many mod blocks have multiple states you cycle through in place, letting you build slopes, layered walls, arches and trim without crafting a separate block for each shape. If a block won't change, make sure you're using the mod's own cycling control rather than a vanilla placement.
