Recreations & Replicas

Recreation maps aim for accuracy rather than invention. Subjects include real landmarks and neighbourhoods built from survey data, schools and houses the author knows, locations from films and television, and levels lifted from other games. Scale is the defining choice: a one-to-one build is enormous and slow to tour, while a reduced scale fits in a normal world but loses interior detail.
