Decide the Pack Contents First

A Conquest Reforged modpack is a curated list of mods built around the core mod. Before hosting, settle on what the pack includes so every player installs the same set.

Server Setup Steps

1. Choose your mod loader and install the server version of Conquest Reforged plus every other mod in your pack.

2. Distribute the exact same mod list to all players — mismatched mods cause connection refusals.

3. Confirm that any mod adding world generation or blocks is present on both server and client.

4. Test with a fresh world: generate terrain, place Conquest blocks, and walk the area to check for missing textures or crashes.

5. Set the server's view distance conservatively. Detailed builds with many block types are heavier to send to clients than vanilla terrain.

Keeping It Stable

  • Pin your mod list and avoid updating individual mods mid-season.
  • Keep a world backup before any change.
  • If a player sees missing blocks, their client mod list does not match the server's.

A small, well-tested pack runs far better than a large one assembled without testing. Start minimal, then expand once the base is proven stable.
