How do I create a new world with Sky Archipelago?
When creating a new world, select "Sky Archipelago" as your world type instead of the default world type. You'll then be able to customize island generation settings before entering the world, or use one of the preset configurations to get started quickly.
Can I have islands floating over a void or do they need water below?
You can choose either—the mod lets you set the bottom layer to be a complete void for a true skyblock experience, or fill it with water or lava for a different survival challenge.
How do I control island size and spacing?
Use the island customization settings to adjust density (how close islands are to each other) and spacing, or set specific spawn chances for small, medium, and large islands to create your preferred distribution.
What island shapes are available?
