Frequently asked questions

How do I open the Skin Shuffle menu in-game?
Press the Skin Shuffle keybind (check your Controls settings if you haven't assigned one) to open the skin carousel. You can also reach it through the mod's config screen if you prefer.
Do other players see my skin change instantly?
Yes, as long as the mod is installed on the server side, your new skin updates for everyone right away without anyone relogging. If the server doesn't have the mod, other players may not see the change until you reconnect.
Why isn't my skin changing when I select a preset?
Make sure you actually apply the preset after selecting it in the carousel, not just highlight it. If it still doesn't work, check that the texture source (URL, username, UUID, or file) is valid and reachable.
Can I use my Minecraft username instead of a URL to load a skin?
Yes, you can add a preset using a Minecraft username or UUID, and the mod will pull that account's current skin. This is handy for quickly grabbing your own skin or a friend's.
